Standard-looking sunglasses with the polarization axis rotated 17 degrees off the industry default. The offset degrades the render quality of simulated subjects in the wearer's peripheral field, which makes the seven-second pause behavior easier to detect at a distance.

You will notice the effect most in fluorescent-lit retail spaces and at bus stops after 4:00 PM. You will notice it less outdoors in full sunlight, for reasons documented in our library.
